Sunita Jain Burad
Founder and Head Designer, Jaipur Pink
We’re creating a modern Indian way of living, dressing, and looking at the world. This is at the heart of everything we do.
Our founder and principal luxury designer at Jaipur Pink, Sunita Jain Burad, has built the brand she envisioned as a young girl. With a Fashion Design Diploma from BILAMS, Kolkata, she has been creating and displaying clothing since the early 1990s.
She sees herself first and foremost as an artist, with a creative outlet, and then as an entrepreneur. Ajrakh from Gujarat, handloom from her birthplace, Bengal, and Mughal designs from Rajasthan are among the crafts she has handpicked to be the flag bearers of her collection, driven by passion and creativity. She’s on a journey to redefine urban style while placing an emphasis on sustainability and giving support to indigenous communities.
She believes, “An artist’s life is fulfilled if one is able to express his thoughts and emotions. Jaipur Pink is a large canvas where I may portray my creative aspirations, and I’m fortunate to have this great opportunity”.
Jyothsna Burad
Creative head and designer
Jyothsna Burad, our creative head and designer, is young and full of fresh ideas. Her final year project on Sustainability and Zero Wastage garment construction won her a Gold Medal at Indian Institute of Crafts & Design. She is passionate, creative and driven, thoroughly researching every aspect before coming to any decisions.
A perfectionist at heart, she has a clear vision for taking her legacy – Jaipur Pink – to the next level, building upon the strong foundation laid by her mother.
The mother-daughter duo complement each other, with a shared passion for Indian crafts and a keen eye for jewellery, styling and accessories.
Dhruv Burad
Chief Operating Officer
Armed with a Bachelors in Business Administration from St. Xaviers College, Dhruv has been fascinated by the digital world with a penchant for understanding technical jargon and systems since an early age.
At Jaipur Pink, he handles all the technical & digital operations and has a vision of taking the brand to a global audience. Efficient and organised, he handles the digital records, keeping it functioning smoothly for the entire team.
